TRADICLAIR PR:
- Mortar used for the creation of a single layer
waterproofing or decorative coatings on exterior or interior walls.
- Semi-heavy coatings that is applied by
mechanical spraying.
- Allows you to create all types of finishes in
100 different colors. examples: rake - erased - crushed rustic -
gritty - cuffed.
- Allows you to use a fine and regular rake thus
reducing clean-up.
Composition:
- Binding agents (white cement &
natural hydraulic lime, calcic lime)
- Fillers, sand and quartz agglomerate
- Water retention agents, bonding
regulators.
- Water-proof, non-light sensitive
mineral pigments
Usage:
INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR WALLS
PRB TRADICLAIR is intended for:
- Exterior or interior waterproofing
and/or decorative coating, on all types of habitation, tertiary or
industrial constructions.
- Coatings on old buildings in good
condition.
- Ornamental brick, stone or ceramic
facade joints (minimum 8 mm).
APPROPRIATE MATERIALS (Type A)
- Cast concrete (DTU 23.1).
- Bond-stone or brick masonrt (DTU 20.1)
mounted on thin or traditional joints.
- Cement and non-uniform under-coating
(DTU26.1).
- Old masonries and other materials
(contact us).
MATERIALS TO AVOID
- All gypsum (plaster) based supports.
- Paint, R.P.E.
- Directly on wood (untreated).
- Horizontal or slanted surfaces.
APPLICATION CONDITIONS
- Temperatures +5C ~ +35C
- Do not apply on: frozen or thawing
surfaces that are hot or in direct sunlight, surfaces that are wet or
under heavy rain and by strong winds.
- Avoid applying sustained tints (dark
tones) at temperatures inferior to +8C or in heavy humidity. (Risks of
efflorescence or increased carbonization)
- Take the necessary precautions to avoid
all splashing or streaming of water on a freshly coated surface
(<72h) in order to avoid gullying or white trails.
- During warm or windy weather, it is
important to humidify the night before application in order to assure
correct re-hydration and therefore ensure a homogenous hardening or
the coating.
- Protect windows and door frames before
spraying the coating.

Manual (by hand)
- Apply spreadable mortar with trowel,
with one application lightly covering over the other. Leveling
of the underoating is done by smoothing the coating with a ruler.
